Network Traffic Management

At busy times, internet providers can slow down traffic on the network. This is called ‘traffic management’ and it’s a way of making sure you get the best possible service.

We’re proud to say that our broadband packages don’t have any speed restrictions. So, if you’re on one of our packages, you don’t need to worry about us slowing you down. It doesn’t matter how much you upload or download, even at peak times. We won’t slow down peer to peer file-sharing either, so share away.

Optical Fiber to the Home/Business Our Optical Fiber Network works using technology called GEPON and connected to the end-user with an Optical Network Terminal (ONT) A Single Ethernet 10/100/1000 which follows IEEE 802.3ab regulations
Connectivity via a Remote LAN (Wireless) We use state of the art Wireless Network equipment to extend our network to remote locations. This will be connected to one of our numerous nodes via 5GHz Wireless Equipment A Single Ethernet 10/100/1000 which follows IEEE 802.3ab & 802.3at (Power-Over-Ethernet) regulations. The Wireless Equipment follows ETSI EN301893/EN302502 regulations
